The sketch model challenge runs on a tight timeline, so we ran physical tests while we built the vehicle.
We examined three major things: wheel surface area, adhesive strength, and material reactivity.
We examined three major things: wheel surface area, adhesive strength, and material reactivity.
Based on the above tests and our preliminary designs, the final wheelbarrow design was crafted.
Some key elements were adding more seating room, and increasing the wheel width.

The foam pieces were cut using a portable jigsaw. In order to get the thickness of the wheels and the seat, we cut identical lengthwise slices, then glued them together.
Once the pieces were manufactured, it was time to test out the constructed vehicle.
